The Famous Gouse started its journey in 1886 when Matthew Gloag created Scotlands favourite whisky,  his signature is still printed on every bottle, even to this day. Born into the trade, Matthew and generations of Gloag family have worked alongside many expert blenders, stillmen coopers, merchants and retailers to make their whisky famous. Made in the oldest working distillery in Scotland Glenturret distillery in Crieff and guided by Matthew's principles of quality and integrity throughout their work.

Bringing together some of the finest ingredients to create this premium blended whisky, making an all-natural spirit, and over time soaking up all the wonderful flavours from their handcrafted casks. Along with the fusion of great craftsmen and a keen eye for quality The Famous Grouse is rich, sweet, well-rounded whisky.
